I think that it'd be interesting to be able to poll the Steemit community on any 'ol thing: opinions on what added features would most improve the experience on Steemit; favorite video game(s); best presidential candidate; best actor/ actress; favorite food(s); favorite vacation get-away(s); you name it.

This poll feature could be used as a tool, by the developers of the Steemit program and interface, to quickly gauge the demands of its community members - the very thing that will cause the site to quickly drive up in popularity over time, and eventually cement this innovative site as a mainstay among the other "heavy-hitters" out there like Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.

More Interactivity = Faster Growing Community

The more interactive we make Steemit's blogging and reply features, the more attractive it becomes as a medium for people to meet and share their world(s) with one another.

I think that we, the Steemit community, should aim to make this a platform wherein people can express themselves and their opinions freely, without feeling judged or put down, and actually be heard. You want authenticity? Then we need to listen to each other, without judgments on character; with a real interest for what each soul has to share....

...but, before we can have this, we must first have the freedom to fully express ourselves and our creativity, and that begins with having enough of the right tools to interact with the community in precisely the intended way.

No Better Time than NOW

I say, let's expand on that tool-set. More importantly, let's give ourselves a tool that allows us all to know what the community wants.
