What an exciting time to be alive!!!!
I don't know if you have been paying attention to all that has happened this year, but what a year to be alive and witness it all. Where do i start? From witnessing a blood moon this summer to this recent super moon. Boy it's been a crazy eventful year, and it isn't over yet. From the recent suprise of the Trump election winning to who knows what will come up next. It's had crazy energies that has made everyone in my life and people around me do crazy unexpected moves that i would never thought they would ever do. I know i'm not the only one who has noticed it. One thing i've noticed is that something definately has changed after the announcement of Trump winning. It feels like we as a country and the world has backed down off the ledge. I am just looking at it from an onlooking stance from a distance. It's like we have another 4 years of reprieve from the oncoming changes staring us down.
I had to listen to the local news earlier when my sister listened to the doom and gloom of the day and i can't help but think "We're all gonna die" and "Their all gonna kill us" that they pump into everyone's heads on a nightly basis. My neice still thinks the clowns are going to pop out from behind every tree and blade of grass and get her. Tonight she said that they can't drink the water at the school because they found lead in the water. Remind you that everyone that went to that school including me drank from those same water fountains and they didn't give a damn about it until now i guess. We all drink water especially when you depend on someone else to bottle or supply the water that you drink or use. Anyone not filtering their city water out before drinking doesn't have a clue what they are drinking and they may be suprised to see what they are consuming, but i digress.
Here's what i do know, not one of us is going to get out of here alive and i doubt we will give much of a damn when we leave this meatsuite behind so we should make every effort to enjoy this life as we can. We should live in the present moment, every moment and leave the past behind you and pay less attention about the future but keep in mind the big picture. I subscribe to the theory that "May you have enough for today" and live accordingly to it. I've been living like that for the past year and a half and i'm still alive, i have enough and i'm satified and lead a fulfilling life. It's up to me to make changes to it anyhow and i don't expect anyone to do it for me.
Over all, i'm one of the lucky one's who have actually paid attention to what has happened this year and all i can say is what a time to be alive. It's been a fulfilling year and there is going to be more to come so we will have to wait and see what's coming at us from around the bend.
I lived most of my life on the Northside of Chicago. When the cubs broke the curse and won the series...I figured, yep Trump will win. I too was relieved. Let's hope he lives up to the promise....but as Ed Snowden said recently...it's really about what we do. We all do matter. Thanks for this post
