What Do All Of Us Here Have In Common?

The word common has more than one meaning, but for the purpose of this post I am going to use the definition that binds people who have similar traits, goals and general attributes.

To make things easier to understand I shall refer to online sources for some “formal” definitions:
One of the online dictionaries gives this as one of the definitions with an example:
shared by, coming from, or done by two or more people, groups, or things.
"the two republics' common border"

Another dictionary/thesaurus give this definition with examples:
used, done, or shared by two or more people
“Member states also agreed to pursue a common trade policy.”
“a group of people descended from a common ancestor”
common language:
“She was Swiss and I am from Vietnam, so French was our common language.”
common to:
“These issues are common to all our clients.”

Many of us here on Steemit have much in common, no matter what our subtle differences may be!

WOW... what a statement!

Yes, we are from all over this world, yet we all share much more in common than what may meet the eye!

Apart from the Crypto, apart from the opportunities that Steemit offers us, we all have a goal of financial freedom.

Freedom in the world we live in is dependent upon financial success.

Now success may vary in definition from person to person, however the reality is that without the financial assets needed in life, it is extremely hard if not impossible to achieve freedom.
So at the end of the day it is safe to conclude that we are all here in a pursuit of freedom.

Freedom!

What a wonderful word, what a wonderful idea, what a beautiful thought!

Some may achieve this before others and that is absolutely normal. To some it may be a race, so others a step by step process, to some it may be a “gamble” in the sense “if it happens it happens”.
Yet to all of us it is a goal!

So Steemians are not all that different, no matter where we may come from, no matter what groups we may or may not belong to, we all share a common goal in life.
FREEDOM!

We share a common platform here, we share a common crypto, two of them in fact and soon many more once the SMT’s start rolling out, yet all of these are just tools, they are things and or services that we use in our efforts to achieve our common goal.

Just sharing some thoughts here!

So instead of my typical goodnight post, here is a post that I have been dwelling on and brainstorming about for a while now. Yet the more I got into it and started jotting things down, the simpler it got. The theme of the post became crystal clear.

I hope that you too after giving it some thought see that common goal that we all aspire too here as Steemians.
