$17,142_and_hit_a_high_of_around_$17,150_and_a_low_of_$16,840._

have_commenced_the_year_2018_on_a_relatively_tepid_note_as_
they_closed_at_$13,443_on_January_1_against_around_$14,000_a_
day_before._On_January_2,however,the_bitcoin_prices_rose
significantly_to$14,679.The_next_day,the_prices_hit$15,156.
