Haha its a tough call to mix business with pleasure but that is a lot of what Steemit is all about and the free upvotes and interactions you do miss out due to not being part of it is huge. I'm only part of a few groups but there are heaps more that can help you grow. Only warning is its a total time sucker haha... you can get lost in the conversations and forever you should be finishing your post/assignment haha. And yes feel free to borrow.
