Yes, but I made an official proposal for that a few days ago, check it out here: https://github.com/steemit/condenser/issues/1521. If you want to support it, leave a comment there, it will show that there is real demand for it.
Do you know the answer to my other question about what happens if a post receives more upvotes after 7 days?
