Define what is a 'quality post' on any of the steem apps?

1. I agree that quality is subjective. But even at that, there are certain lines we can all agree on. A one-line post cannot be deemed as quality. This leads to my second point.
2. Quality implies effort. That a post, picture or video is qualied as a quality post means the creator devoted some effort into. Clearly a randomly taken picture at the beach with your family doesn't cut it. However, if a professional photographer takes a picture of the same scene using his tools and knowledge, then that picture becomes quality.
3. Quality has grades. That your post is good doesn't mean it should earn like other quality posts. It would be a very long piece on an interesting topic. However, don't be surprised if a short poem is rated more by an experienced curator. Why? Because that short poem could contain more value than your long essay.
4. Know your environment. A long post on dtube might not interest curators because the focus is on the video. If the video is awesome, quality is good, voice is clear, etc... they might ignore obvious errors in your text. On musing, relevant and accurate information is the gold standard. Long or short, if you don't meet those, it's not quality
