Followback - whether this tag is necessary and whether it is necessary to follow in response?
Follow the user in response to what he follows you - right?
Today, when the number of followers has reached 256, I thought about this issue. The very idea of following is the ability to receive news from a certain user to himself in the tape without calling on his blog page. And since there are a lot of such users, it is more correct to subscribe to them all and to receive news from all interesting users in the tape. If the user for any reasons has ceased to be interesting - you can stop reading it or mute.
On the other hand, when a user starts following you, he, to some extent, gives you his trust and respect. And in order to express his gratitude to him, you can follow him. If the user places content that does not like it, or just very often - nothing prevents you from stopping following it or mute.
How do you think - how should you act when the user starts following you? To follow him in response or not? Or follow, depending on the content? I follow in reply, thus saying "thank you".
Write your opinion in the comments, I will be very interested in reading it. Also I will be grateful for resteem - then more users will be able to speak.
I personally think it is good manners to follow back and up vote when something interests you. This is how we build up each other's accounts. I have often followed and taken the time to up vote and comment on other's posts even if it only mildly interests me and I hope they would do the same, but many do not. We all have our personal interests and not everyone is always going to like it. But even so, following and upvoting brings a sense of community and will bind people together rather than each just being a lone wolf. We do basically the same thing on Facebook but at least on here we each have the chance to make some money while doing it.
Thank you for your opinion! It coincides with mine, at least in part exactly.
