Don't Let Hubris Fool You. You're Nothing Without Those Who Support You
No Such Thing As Self-Made
This past year or so has been very trying and exciting at the same time. Failures here and lessons learned there. But there is one thing that I do not take for granted and it is this. The support and encouragement from others.
This is huge for me because in general I spend so much time encouraging others that sometimes I can't help but feel the moments of emotional neglect. However I have found a group of people that I can say add to my life in many ways. Although this group has changed over the year and continues to do so there's still a handful of people that I want to simply say THANK YOU!!! to.
You know who your are. I don't want to call out individuals because I would leave too many people out that have helped me. But for those of you who have supported or continue to do so, BIG ups to all of you. All the pushing and motivating me has given me fuel to continue sharing the light that is my life.
You are respected and you are so important to what I do. No man is an island as I stated earlier and I would go insane if I did not have people around me to simply listen to what I have to say and give me some encouragement in return. It's an honor also to be an ambassador of a coming Kingdom and represent well in hopes to lead others to the light. The fact that I get to do what I do and help others to truly LIVE is an amazing experience to be a part of. I can go on and on. But for the sake of my words not being able to truly express how grateful I am I'll just leave it here. Shalom.
What is something I said that has impacted your life?
Wise words. Different people already said the same. And still everywhere, everyone like to speak about this self-made thing. You can buy alot books about this topic, they try to teach you how to be "self-made". The biggest lie on earth and disrespectful to the people that did help someone.
Man I agree. I can't stand when people go around saying they are self made. It's arrogant in my opinion.
This guy right here gets it. You're nothing without your supporters, yet not a lot of people give back to the extent as humanearl does and that might hurt them going into the future.
In ancient Greece they described foolish overconfidence as Hubris. Heros that showed this kind of behavior were either killed or eternally punished by the gods.
This simple lesson taught us to stay humble eve' if we experience success. Reward those who got you in the position to reward and that's exactly what humanearl is doing here.
As scripture says, pride comes before the fall. Thanks for the compliments.

My friend im glad to by with you on this journey. Seeing you progressing is a big motivation because i remember how you build all this up and now it looks you have finaly esablish.
All this is still a big learning process for me. I have come a long way but my work is not complete. It's people like you that I think about as I am on this journey.

Most People think help only comes in the monetary aspect not knowing it can be in any form. Just like when a person is down and kinda tired of life, those people around him who support and encourage him to continue living life, that all will be well, are helpers even if they dnt have money to support him.. The emotional help counts. Thanks @humanearl for the enlightenment.

No man is an island. Everyone needs help one way or the other to able to stand in life.

Yea bro everyone needs helo in one way ir the other that is why I always advice people never to look down on anyone. Even a gate keeper in an office can help you get that dream job with so much ease. It's proud people that always think they need no one to survive but in the real sense, their pride goes before their fall...

Our independence is always not a true statement. First of all you must understand that your birth is not your will.
Actually, you can really affect your life. But this happens after when you realize that your appearance is no coincidence proizolsho. Everyone should have a goal in life. Each have unique skills. Many people believe that we have emerged with a specific meaning. I partially agree with this meaning.
We all depend on the actions of other people. It is the truth. We live in a society and we cannot be independent of that society.
I hope that those people whom you had due to really have a value in your life.

I think of the rope analogy too. I single strand is much weaker than hundreds of strands.
@humanearl, Thanks for talking about motivation conversation. Peoples faced lot of difficulties and then perhaps failure their life. But experience our build up our success. Without difficulties cannot find best opportunities of success. As my life faced tough period, that time some best persons given huge support to me stand up my life. Those who truly know us for who we are, are the people that have the most influence in our lives, such as our parents. In my case, it is my mother who has greatly impacted my life. She has stood beside me through thick and thin. I know that as long as she is here on this earth, she will stand beside me to love and support me unconditionally as she has done all these years. It is coz of her that I am who I am today. I'm talking about new friends, acquaintances, or even complete strangers that caused you to realize something new about humanity or about yourself. We must remember that, without relationships each others cannot stay on the planet. So engagement with peoples very important thing.
We are all connected and dependent. I agree all the way with you.
