Can you explain or provide a link explaining the “code” for formattings used in this article? I.e. image with text, text columns, etc?

From your post Guide for MarkDown which i can't believe I missed, and I can't believe I haven't noticed that "editor" button!???!? I haven't tried the editor yet, so we'll see if I actually like it.
And as usual your post (Guide for MarkDown) is awesome. Too bad I didn't see it earlier!
A few questions:
I tried to embed a D.Tube video and it didn't work... any idea why it might not embed?
Also, I've seen multiple posts where a photo is inserted, and it's relatively small, and there is an option to click on it to view it larger... do you know how that can be done?

STEP 1. You upload both images (big + small dimension)
STEP 2. You remove the ![text]( and the last parenthesis
STEP 3. You add the code as:

Unfortunately dtube cannot yet be embedded the same way as youtube, but I believe that this solution is better than just putting the link.

p.s. you are right, I had not checked the dtube info before posting it in the markdown guide .. But apparently your question was a good chance to eventually figure out how it works

Yeah I guess that embedment style is good enough for dtube!
Especially since dtube (as far as I know) posts directly to Steemit.
So I would have to create a separate account to have the video upload to dtube without going to my Steemit blog. Then take the link and embed it, dtube style (or @katerinaramm style) into my Steemit post...
