Guinness*, fog and swindlehadding
About 1.5 years ago I went to #London for a weekend to attend a bachelor party. Another one of my friends and I decided to take advantage of the opportunity and spend the following week exploring #Ireland!
Sheep in Ireland + almost blue skies! Driving to or through the Cliffs of Moher
Flight: London to Dublin.. the first swindlehadding
While we wouldn't have been nominated for a travelers of the year award during this trip, we still got beyond travel-raped by shady RyanAir. My buddy and I got to the airport on time but he didn't purchase checked bags... So we had to do that in time to check-in/make the flight. The automated machine wasn't working after being told by one of the worthless RA pseudo-employees that we had to wait inline. Only to get told by different candy-assed jabroni RA clown that check-in for our flight was closed! We had to buy a completely new flight now complete with checked bags, leaving 2 hours later. After almost missing that flight for mental retardation issues we finally got personally escorted along the tarmac to our flight...
After getting dropped off in a GTA-esque airport-tarmac luggage carrier.
Guinness Factory Dublin.. the non swindling
After having breakfast in coffee house (bar) consisting of a Guinness and an Irish coffee, we headed to the the place where Guinness is made. We skipped the tour as much as we could and headed straight for the top floor. A circular observatory with a bar in the center. We each handed in our one-beer-voucher that came with the museum admission price and each received a fresh Guinness - straight from the source. Then out of no where, some true Irish luck. The bartender said in an Italian accent, "hold on to you ticket... come back if you want more." So we did exactly that, a half dozen times or so.

Site seeing 1.0 - The Cliffs of Moher
After driving (on the wrong side of the road) for about half the day, from Dublin to the south and then up the west coast, we finally arrived in Liscannor, County Clare. Words and even photos don't do the amazing scenery justice. So hopefully this photo will speak for itself.
The foggy Cliffs of Moher, don't stand too close to the edge.
Stay tuned for more on this trip!
Sounds like you had an ordeal. Great photos!
Thanks! There were plenty more ordeals that we encountered! I’ll do a follow up post soon! Ireland was a great time.
As an Irishman myself, I see you have already encountered 3 of the biggest issues we face here
If you are over in the West still, I would highly recommend a night out in Galway City, travel around the Burren region and try to find Father Ted's house!
Head further south down to Kerry for some of the most rugged, harsh, remote and beautiful terrain you'll ever see!
We went to Galway and drove through Kerry! But I was falling asleep when writing this so I’ll have to do a follow up post haha. Also hence why I misspelled Guinness in the title... #smh thanks for the info. I’ll also need to do a follow up trip, properly planned, to see some of the amazing things I missed.
