Haha it's not a dagger type of weapon it's actually a broken sword which is found right at the start, and I do believe it's the first weapon found regardless of which class you pick.
Basically the broken sword isn't good because of it's range followed by it's damage, I think it if had a little more range it would be a ok starting weapon.
