When they created Hive it made a replicate of everybodies account and history copying it over to Hive.

Generally now but depends how you think about it, I mean Steem could go down if many move to hive and power down. but for now roughly the same amount will be invested between the 2 blockchains, unless one chain gets somewhat successful.
if all move hive then hive price go up?
