Hi Jeff, you would have to live out of the city to make it. Our budget is $1200 a month to cover all the basics living in a middle class Panamanian neighborhood 30 minutes from the city. To qualify as a pensionado I think you need a minimum of $1000 a month but you would have to check with a lawyer to make sure.
