Ripple (XRP), the reason is inter ledger protocol. Do the research on it. It is also next on the list for Houbi last I saw, and I have no idea if that happens when it would be, it would be a surprise. Antshares might hit Houbi first, but I also have that.
Litecoin (LTC), should continue to grow and Bitstamp launch is imminent, I believe Lightning network is also soonish based on all the hints.
Zcash (ZCASH), the best anon coin, older tech is not better in this regard it is inferior. In the end with Anon coins, it is also about trusting the devs unless you have a Ph.D. in cryptography or can check and understand the code updates personally, I don't think most of us can. Coming to Alpha Bay 1st of next month.
Waves (WAVES), very popular is Russia, Sasha is a great dev and this has a lot of potential with the upcoming exchange upgrades and adding more coins and tokens.
Antshares (ANS), Big news coming in days and popular in China, I tested the wallet some, this is certainly something very different. Appears to be a cross between Ethereum, Hyperledger, and Ripple? It has some unique DPOS system and gas rewarded from staking coins. The only thing I do not like, fees 1 ANS to move? They will have to update that. Might be ok at 5 cents an ANS, will not make sense at $20+ a token.
Basic Attention Token (BAT), Project leader made Javascript and Firefox, solid business plan with actual potential. Try out the Brave Browser, it is faster, safer, and gives you an idea of the quality of the team. Long term hold, use Myetherwallet and forget about it for awhile, IMHO.
Expanse (EXP), disclaimer, I am on the team, regardless, Tokenlab is coming with three startups to test on it, new partnership announcement should be soon. By far the cheapest fork of Etheruem, and we are the first stable alternative public ETH chain, the others came much later.
Monacoin (MONA), testing lightning network now, used in Japan, has network effect and cheap. Another long term hold, good to put on Coinomi and forget about for awhile. The low price could mean huge gains in the long run. Worst case, it holds price and could always be traded back for the same price, extremely low risk at this rate.
Zencash (ZEN), forked from Zclassic and going for the funded + masternode angle, my bet is it might rise with Zcash when the Alphabay launch for Zcash hits. There has been some drama with ZEN/ZCL, but it looks like they both have some kind of active development going on. Not sure which of this will win out or if they both do, or both fail, but I know Zcash is going up.
Zclassic (ZCL), first fork of Zcash, I tried to follow all the drama and decided at this price I just don't care, and who knows who is wrong and who is right, anon coins typically are the most toxic in crypto, but they can still be very profitable to trade now and then. I picked up an equal amount of /ZCL to cover my bases for potential profits the start of next month.
