Steemit! Tips, Tricks And A List Of The Greats!

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

A lot of people make posts about how to do well on Steemit. There's a whole list of ediquite, things you should and shouldn't do, tips for getting upvotes and so on.

I use these people's wisdom to try and better myself at Steemit. There's no point in thousands of followers if nobody reads your posts. I think that some of the most important tips that I've learned from these people's posts were to involve yourself in the community. Make comments on posts that you are truly interested in and engage with the other members. This way you will find followers with mutual interests on topics.

Some of the tips are interesting and seem to be not for everyone even though they should be. Do not upvote your own post is something that lots of people agree with but lots of others want to keep doing. Why would you upvote your own post? If you made a post doesn't that mean you already like it? Ahh, it's for the money. Money will be made all in due time. Use your voting power to upvote other content that is truly good and inspiring to you. This will benefit everybody which in return will benefit you in the long run.

There are some really great people doing really excellent things here on Steemit. There's a fellow on here @fulltimegeek that goes around upvoting people's quality posts for nothing in return. I was amazed at the generosity that was added to a few of my posts. Of course, you can't expect that type of thing on all your posts but it's nice once in a while.

If your into cryptocurrency there's a knowledgeable fellow name @fyrstikken who is also on discord and does Steem Speak. You can check out @kingscrown as well for crypto news and knowledge.

If you like music check out @luzcypher and @pfunk 's open mic.

If you are interested in homesteading and gardening check out @lyndsaybowes , @mericanhomestead

If you're down for art, art contests and luither/music things check out @juliakponsford and @vachemorte @gric

Do you like reptiles, insects and even zombie apocalypses then check out @papa-pepper

There's a dude @lukinsawyer whose riding his bicycle across the USA to show and promote Steemit. How cool is that?

If you like photography and crypto challenges check out the king of that @timsaid

If you like sports contests you must check out @sportsncoffee

For tips and tricks of Steemit and cryptocurrencies check out @jerrybanfield

@jeffberwick is amazing! Check out his walk and talks you won't be disappointed. Or you can check out his other account @dollarvigilante for great news of crypto's and other stuff.

After you've checked out all these people's unique and original posts head back to your profile and post something original and great. Something with your own Steem talent twist. Don't focus on the money or views just keep posting your great quality content and the views, followers, and upvotes will start appearing.

Try to post once a day and try different times of the day to post because you never know when people are out and about looking at your content.

I hope I've helped lots of you find some people in a category that you're interested in. There's more people that I could've tagged in here as well. Just ask me in the comments about a category and I can introduce you to more Steemians that you'll love.

Awesome post mate. I'm new to steemit and I'm trying to get Australian cryptocurrency investors to unite and share hints and tips. This is a great platform for sharing and caring.

Thanks @gowd this definitely is a great platform. Getting some Australians investors together to discuss and share hints and tips is a great idea. You should make a post with your requests and intentions
