The12 Arcana Cards: THE FOOL

Much of the history behind tarot cards are shrouded in mystery and how they are used varies according to who you speak with. We do know the tarot is at least as old as the fourteenth century. Throughout recent history, some have used tarot cards for games, others use them for divination.

The power and mystique of tarot is the perfect way to confuse the CFS. In a world of high tech surveillance, the cards are an ingenious and effective way to elude even their best efforts at surveilling the “The12.” Just exactly how are we going to pull this off? You’ll have to stay tuned to find out.

Fabulous Hard Fork Universe member, @georgeboya has begun using his incredible artistic talents to bring the HardFork tarot cards to life. Here’s George on his process...

"After an evening of brainstorming with the hardfork team we decided to create a series of artworks in order to represent the different aspects of the twelve different Coins.”

“For me 12 is a number of high symbolism and the whole idea inspired me to match them with 12 cards from the Major Arcana tarot deck. The 22 Major Arcana cards describe our journey through life and all the different aspects of ourselves.”

“At some point we are the Fool, walking carelessly through danger but always following his dream. Sometimes The Devil, bringing mindless destruction to everything we once loved and cherished.”

“This understanding free us from the invisible bonds of fate and let us decide for ourselves who we really are.”

“I decided to match my first Coin, Steem with the Fool card. The Fool symbolizes the dream of life before birth, it’s a very esoteric card and in my opinion one way to look at it is like the dream that we see before walking up in the morning as if every day is a new life. What makes Steem so unique is the Steemit platform where we are all dreaming right now, in this terrifying night that we are living in, and waiting for the morning to come and give a new birth of life."
