I didn’t hear about Intermittent Fasting until a few years ago and applied it immediately into my new life style. I wake up very early every morning, have a cup of coffee or just water. At midday I eat my lunch or a snack and something else in the evening. I became slim in no time, that my friends started worrying. I eat two plates of pasta at the evening, but my body is perfect like never before. So actually I was eating the same amount of calories or even more in a restricted time frame. Instead of having breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks in between; I combine lunch and dinner and have smoothies at night. It worked like magic and I am still following it until this day. I feel energetic, alert, relaxed, more creative and aware. Definitely not hungry or weak . It is not a diet, but the concept is: Eat pretty much whatever you want, but only during a specific time period.

Whether you have a pancake, oatmeal, fruits, omelet and sausages or a big cup of coffee, there is always a chance that you start every day with a breakfast. It became such a familiar part or our modern daily life. In the 13th century eating early was considered a sin and breakfast literally means breaking the fast. In our modern society, fasting has sort of developed a weird stigma of being dangerous and unhealthy. But we do fast without planning it, mostly when we are busy at work or living busy and hectic lives.

“Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper.” How to true is it, depends on the experience of individuals. It is proven that skipping breakfast can help with optimum human performance, mental and physical health improvement.

If you have ever tried to diet, you likely know how it feels when you inevitably fall off the wagon. By Intermittent Fasting you will be fasting and then feasting on purpose. You also need to eat better and make exercise. Add more raw fresh vegetables and fruits into your diet. Drink a lot of water and fresh juices. You will be fasting for 16 hours and then only eating within a specific 8-hour window. That means you will skip breakfast and start eating from noon until 8pm. Not eating for long periods improves insulin sensitivity, so when you do eat, your blood sugar doesn't fluctuate wildly, and your body won’t store carbohydrate calories as fat.

Whether Intermittent Fasting is good for you or not, you need to find out yourself :)

This has worked for you, but will not work for all. A starving body will store fat when it is fed again. You can throw your metabolism out of wack with restricted diets. :-)

It worked for me for some reasons. I usually eat lunch late, so there was no big change in my daily routine. I also had to eat healthier and cut bread out. But yes it might not work for everybody.

@hanen am on fasting period, can that still work on me if am eaten early and late letter? Because i want to reduce my fat.
