I rarely look at the trending page being a newbie as it can be a bit disheartening when even after promoting your posts you still get less than 15 views. If people are hogging the trending page then this does seem highly unfair especially to those who are just trying to be heard. Great use of PIXABAY by the way. I agree with you.

    Thanks for your feedback. Excessive posting and voting all of the posts to directly appear on the trending page, 3-7 posts at a time, is a problem that needs solving. Unfairness with other authors is another aspect of the problem which also needs to be addressed.
