Question about user @bittrex on Steemit
I've noticed users are sending a lot of BSDs to the Steemit user @bittrex.
Why?
It looks like a dormant account (no posts, comments or followings) but BSDs are being transferred in & out of it.
Who owns it?
It's worth over 12 billion dollars!!!!
Curious minds want to know.

Bittrex is a cryptocurrency exchange. They reward steem and sbd that is sent there through their exchange
So what happens when someone sends BSD to @bittrex?
Is user @bittrex connected to the exchange?
Just a newbie trying to understand.
The account is, I believe, the way you transfer funds from steemit to the bittex exchange, if you look there is also one for Poloniex and bitcoin.
