Ethereum Classic Attacked by Bitcoin Exchange

The uncertainty surrounding Ethereum Classic seems to be growing thicker by the day.
The latest attack is from the popular exchange BTC-e where it posted and described Ethereum Classic as a scam! The post made available here= https://btc-e.com/news/230 states “BTC-e’s official standpoint on this issue is as follows: Ethereum Classic in the current circumstances is a scam. The Ethereum community decided to implement the hardfork in order to switch to the new chain. All major pools and exchanges (including BTC-e) did exactly that.”
Some have accused BTC-e of selling customers Ether classic which they also denied in the post.
It’s a hard call to buy, sell or even hold!
