Have You Heard? - Busy.org

This will be news to some, and old news to others. Either way, I want to share with those who follow us and may not know (yet)...

That's a big-B logo... the busy.org logo!

Have You Heard of @busy.org ? If not...

Stop what you're doing, and leave now.

Okay, wait just a second! I need to tell you some of the cool features it has over Steemit...

Hide Those Resteems!

An Intuitive View

When you are on someone's page, the default view is of their ORIGINAL CONTENT! This is so nice! I follow people to see what they create themselves much more than to see what they share. To view what a person has shared (termed as a reblog on busy.org), just click on the "Reblogs" link on the page's banner. BAM! Done!

Room For Improvement

@busy.org is not perfect by any means, but having these two features (among other, smaller ones) makes it very useful! I had two enhancement requests that I sent on to the @busy.org team:

  • Show all of the people we follow under the "chat bubble" section of our side bar instead of only 20.
  • Give an option to turn on/off reblogged posts in our main homepage feed so we can see all the original posts from people we follow on one page without having to dive into each person's page individually.

Okay, now you can go, but...

Come back here and let me know what you thought! Did I miss a really cool feature that you found awesome? Reply here so others who come this way will see it too!

Until next time,
@greenacrehome

I am not affiliated with busy.org in any way and wrote this simply to share a useful tool with the community so we may all have a more rewarding experience with each other.

This sounds really interesting. There are so many posts i want to come back to later or just save for reference. Sounds like this will do that easily. I am still not sure what it is though. IS it a new steemit site but better or a browser add-on for steem. I guess I will look deeper when i get a littel time. Thanks again!

Great Question! This is a separate website that runs off of the steemit database. Think of it as a Steemit with a different Theme/Skin and with some different features.

Sweet! Thanks because that is awesome! Too bad my workplace blocks it. Think i need to change some firewall settings!!!

Just be sure to log in with your posting ID, not your steemit password. Not that busy.org is sketchy, but just as a best practice for security.

Your posting ID is under Steemit at:
Wallet->Permission->Posting Key->View Private Key

Great tip! Thank for lookout! Will do.
