When I joined Steemit newly, I had the same challenge of getting upvotes on my post. It's a common struggle here. But a time comes that you need to focus more on contributing than getting from the community. Take steemit as a family. In order to achieve greatness here, you need to nurture your account from infant to adulthood. Don't put your eyes on the dollars, for if you do, you might be discouraged. It might take time, but it's possible to make it here.
