Grant Cardone and Facebook Go to War
DEAR FACEBOOK EXECUTIVES,
Because of your recent decisions to throttle my personal and business accounts, I will be moving all live streams and redirect traffic to your competitors at Youtube, LinkedIn, Snapchat and Itunes. Also, I will immediately discontinue all advertising with your company until this arbitrary and abusive throttling discontinues.
I have spent seven years, tremendous effort and people resources along with millions of dollars building an audience here on Facebook. I have also successfully built a very active audience here making me one of your top channels.
Your success and distribution around the world clearly helped me do so and I appreciate your services up to this point. It has been a win-win for both of us.
Recently you started to aggressively throttle what my audience sees and does not see with "new rules." If I want to offer FREE services, discounts, or even money to an audience to further expand my reach that is my decision as a business person and when it works I then spend more money with you.
Attempting to force an already good paying customer ( millions last year) is simply validation that your company is controlling what people see and don't see and makes you look even more guilty of recent accusations of political influence.
Today, however, I ran a test to see how much you are involved in what my audience sees. I offered $1000 give away to the 6m people who follow me here and did the same on another channel with only a fraction of the audience size and reach. The smaller audience by ten times had 50X the views and entries to win the $1000. Smarter (more conforming) people than me will say this is against your new set of rules. But who are you to decide what the marketplace should see or not see?
Clearly, you are free to exercise your business as you see fit. But, remember the marketplace makes the rules, not the company. And like in all things, when your once satisfied customers have had enough, they will seek other alternatives. Those who happily paid you yesterday will discontinue paying you tomorrow and disruption occurs.
Seems like you guys have enough going on with breaches and accusations of political influence and should get back to your mission; "Give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together." Until this is handled I will be moving my daily live streams to other channels and discontinuing advertising with your company.

If you are going to be hosting your videos on YouTube you're going to be subject to the same issue. At the very least, you ought to be mirroring all of your video content on dtube (if you're not already) since it also operates on the Steem blockchain and you're already using Steem.

This is a huge step you've made @grantcardone. I've followed you for a couple of years now on facebook and your audience is tremendous; all over the globe. It's funny even thinking of how facebook would start regulating what your audience receives from you after the long relationship you've had with the platform. You've brought in good returns on platform for them to treat you this way. Facebook just can't stop going down with many of other investors pulling out.
