RE: What is going on in steemit

in #steemit3 months ago

Hello @zekanem, it's great to see you here! I noticed that you mentioned something about engagement contests, and I wanted to share my thoughts on that. It's important to keep in mind that engagement contests are meant to encourage meaningful interactions and discussions among participants. But, sadly, some users used to copy and paste sentences from the author's posts and replies, it's not really in the spirit of the contest, and it can detract from the overall quality of the engagement.

That being said, winning an engagement contest isn't just about being the most engaged. In addition to having at least 10 upvotes and 5 meaningful comments on your post, you should also be actively engaging with other participants by upvoting their posts and leaving thoughtful comments. It's a great way to build a sense of community and support each other's work.

Of course, winning an engagement contest isn't guaranteed, especially with so many talented and passionate participants. But that's part of the fun! It's about challenging yourself to create the best content you can and connecting with others who share your interests.

So, before you leave any complaints, just remember that Steemit is a free platform, and everyone is here because they're passionate about something. Whether you're commenting, posting, or just browsing, do it with joy and enthusiasm, and the rest will fall into place.
