I didn't know steemit inc existed. I'm a mini-minnow here. . . . The more I look into steem, the more 'centralized' it looks under steemit. I have had a hard time finding details on the steem blockchain and how to interact other than steemit.

As for improvements, we Do NOT need a central figurehead. All minnows want the feel that we can be a TOP contributor and affect changes ourselves. Again, maybe that's impossible because steemit inc is running things. Maybe that's the fallacy.

Thus, steemit inc is not transparent at all.

If we mini-minnows need a FAQ or starting point, then we could have a default set of 'following', starting with a Ned figurehead and an 'Admin' and a FAQ secretary of sorts. Then, they can be unfollowed as needed. . . . Important posts would automatically flow through in the feed.
