Nepal

How Can Steemit help Reduce Unemployment?
If I am to speak and Write honestly Steemit cannot reduce unemployment in Nepal Directly. But, it can create Path towards Prosperity and thus reduce unemployment.
By using Steemit unique aspect, a content creator can make much more than monthly pay of an employed worker here in Nepal which is around 200-250$ per months(It's True).

"The reason why worry kills more people than work is that more people worry than work." Robert Frost

With Average Wage of around 92$, a person has to feed himself and his family which is very difficult at this expensive time. But, If we introduce Steemit(as well as others Blockchain Technology), which rewards a creator can very much change this Situation by helping them to sustain their Life. Even just 25$ addition to their monthly pay via Steemit it can radically make their life beautiful.

Question remains, What about Those who are Illiterate?
The Census from 2016 estimates 34.1% of Nepali are still illiterate, even among remaining 65.9% only about 40% Know English and those who have Proper Knowledge of Internet may be even Lower. It is Very Challenging to Connect them to this Technology. However, if we successfully managed to connect only those who have basic knowledge they can indirectly help others as well. Even If only one person from Family joins Big pool he can significantly improve the condition of his family as well.

I might be Wrong in This, but Believing in Steemit has made me aware that if we actually Trust and Help this, There is Greater Value you get in Return from it.

If you want to make few suggestions and help me improve this Idea, feel free to comment Your Views as Well. I'm Organizing a meetup with others Steemit Users on January 20th to discuss this and exchange Other Ideas and Tips as well.

It could make a difference and reduce poverty, but the question is: How sustainanable is Steemit? And also, how good is access to internet in the remote villages?

for me, steemit is stable and growing more than ever,

that internet connection stability is need to be addressed,

I don't know that for sure.

Thank You. Nice to meet you 😊

those illiterate can still do steemit and that depends on how he wanted it, we can guide and help but it needs the user itself to do it or nothing can happen

Nice to see posts from Nepal, it's always welcome sight to see that, and so sad that I missed the meetup. Hope there's another one soon :D
