Right on - it's the our expectation that let's emotions get the better of us...
After all - we put out the post, invested time, thought and hope - and a post - well - flops.
However, for me, it is more a 'rejection' thing, coupled with pride. Did people just didn't care about the subject I addressed?
Main thing - the more we look at it from a fun - point with earning potential rather than the other way around - and the less we take ourselves so darn seriously and think we just wrote the best thing after the Bible, the easier it is to deal with a disappointment - and see it as a lesson of what doesn't work and and opportunity to do better.

I couldn't agree more. Missing the payout is one thing but yeah that feeling of second guessing the quality of your work has got to be the worst of it.
