Hey, man, welcome to Steemit! I relate to your sentiment. I have been here since early January (his year) and it feels like forever--but in a good way! Point is, there's a rather "steep learning curve," so to speak. Takes a while to really start to get the ball rolling. As far as bots: I just started to feel confident using them a couple weeks ago.
