Locked out of the account after password reset

i was introduced to Steem by @thismayor who has been a member for a couple of weeks now.

I'am posting this in his behalf because he is now locked out of his account.

Hey i am @thismayor .Creatin my account two weeks ago i was asked to give a 16 digit password,i did.it was working perfectly untill a few hours ago,my account was in the acked ones,so everything was ok.

today i was  asked to RESET PASSWORD.so in did and the site gave me a generated password.

i updated it and now i cant log in.

Now keep in mind that i have only used 2 passwords for this account since i created it and none is working.

i get a message that " authority is missing" or something like that.

can anybody help?
