Thanks for sharing the trends, however I tend to think that there is a lot of good content on Cryptocurrencies and there is a huge upward surge of unique visitors on Steemit whenever there are news on cryptos and Bitcoin in particular. This can explain the increase in visitors around June - july before Bitcoins fork. That's my take:)
