I tried their platform a while ago, fell in love with their concept but there is a lot to be done to achieve the Steemit user friendliness. Well, that's my view, other users may have a different opinion. Thanks, your indepth info has helped clear many questions.
You are right. The community still has a long way to go, and remember it is still in a beta. Let's hope they get the concept right.
