Comments on posts are DISAPPEARING!!

I've noticed this morning (maybe it's been going on for longer though).

I entered a competition another user is running, as you do. There are many generous competitions happening all the time here on steemit and it's very generous of people to do them. One of the pre-requisites to entering is usually to post a comment.

So on one particular competition, I commented, re-steemed, was following the user already but checked that I was. Then I posted the comment with what they asked the entrants to post. This was yesterday....

I log on today, check my homepage with blog listings and decided to have a look at the competition, see who's entered. Maybe some other users I might be interested in looking at what they post may have entered too. BUT...I couldn't see my comment. I refresh the page/login/out and try another browser, still nothing.

So it appears that there is a bug with comments disappearing. I am not the only one that's noticed this and today is the only day I've noticed it but just thought I'd comment on it because if competitions are being run by someone who finds my post here and one of the requisites from the entrants is to comment then it obviously throws into jeopardy the fairness of any competition they and anyone else is also running here on steemit where it's being asked for people to place a comment. It's not the fault of the one running the competition or those entering it.

In the video I just talk about this error via screen recording, going through what I did as I was trying to work out whether I was going crazy or not.
