Hey there @barrydutton, today I posted about getting the potatoes and onions out of the garden before the snow {20 cm ) comes next week. I am going to post about transplanting Peonies two different kinds, tomorrow and then.....ta da....I am going to post about a Christmas Pointsettia that I have nurtured and pampered and loved since last Christmas, anxious as hell to see if it will Bloom this Christams. That is my insight my friend.

I think here in Ontario we went from Summer right into Winter. LOL we have had frost almost every night, since mid September.
You are SW of me, if I recall, I cannot remember now.
Rain all summer, summer all fall ----- and now like you said, frosty cold LOL
