Found myself on Minds.com which immediately reminded of Steemit.
After hopping over to Youtube from a Steemit post, I suddenly ended up on Minds.
So for comparison I decided to make this post:
https://www.minds.com/newsfeed/652867431391309825
I hope someone will see it and give me some feedback. Also, it's interesting to know if people there get interested about Steem.
This was a short post because I have to go and prepare some food. Upvote and stuff. :)
upvoted and followed.
Thanks! :)
Ill sub you there later, i like it, they had a bitcoin wallet now disabled, to come back later i was told. Also check the groups for more focused topics.
Thanks!
Will do, it's an interesting looking site. Certainly easy to use and all, but I'm not sure about the freedom of speech aspect of it. There's always the problem of centralized sites (or single point of entry like Steemit), that it can be hijacked or court ordered to comply and cooperate with almost any entity.
i have been on minds for years, since i also run a social network at https://www.ureka.org that uses the same open source framework as minds. i was offered a job at minds but turned it down to work on my own project. minds will be adding a money system similar to steemit soon i think.
Oh, I didn't realize it was based on Elgg.
originally minds was based on elgg, but they have added to it a lot and replaced some bits
