Good suggestions. To be fair to the site it's in beta so work in progress but it needs to become a little slicker to become more comparable to Youtube + Reddit and let's face it that's what STEEMIT is..a decentralised Youtube+Reddit where the contributing user community decides on what deserves to our attention and what doesn't. One further thing I'd like to add to the list is 2-factor-authentication for login.
