Steemit: Fiat Currency in some part of the world

With all the talk of cryptocurrencies recently, it's easy to forget that all around the world most people still use paper money. Here's a side by side comparison of cash from my recent travels. The countries this money comes from are: The Gambia, The USA, Sierre Leone, Indonesia, Ghana, Vietnam, China, Cambodia, South Africa, and Thailand.

I find it pretty interesting that is difficult to determine the economic status of a country from its currency. One might think that a poor country might have low quality paper bills, but in fact most of these bills feel very nice and high quality.
