Daily Musing: "Is there a way to check whether your post has been resteemed?"

Aside from upvote, one of the key functions of Steemit is to allow users to resteem (share) someone's post to his/her own feed. This function is particularly powerful since it basically mean that a resteemer is endorsing the author's post to his / her own followers.

The act of resteeming a post may not have a direct implication to the post rewards, however it increases the chances for the post to possibly earn more since the post will gain more exposure depending on the followers of the resteemer. This action will indirectly introduce the post to more viewers and possible upvotes.

Now to answer the question, there are more than one ways to tell whether your post has been resteemed by someone else. First option is to check the notification through interfaces like https://busy.org & https://steempeak.com, both are doing a good job at recording the activities whereby your steem account was involved. One of the issues of this option is that you will have to scroll to find the specific activity/resteem action that you're looking for.

Another option is to check on @steemchiller's https://steemworld.org which I find to be the most user friendly in my opinion. As soon as you access the site, you can head over to the POSTS tab, on it are the list of your posts. By clicking each post, it will show you more information about your post, these are: summary, votes, images, replies, transfers, & resteems. The Resteem tab will show you if your post was resteemed or not, in addition it will also show how many times it was resteemed and who resteemed your post.
