I believe it will be a bear market at least until summer 2017. I'm going to love scooping up a ton of steem once it hits below 3 cents.
Sad for those who bought in much higher and have essentially been funding this platform this whole time.
Nobody told them to buy though. I've only told people to join steemit and blog. Buying and selling is for people willing to lose $$$. Also, I've met a ton of influential people on Steemit and it's been worth my time and money (the little bit I've invested).
I agree. Still sad for those who invested at higher prices. I also have had quite a bit of fun here, even if I don't recover my initial investment. I'm hopeful that I will, but it would be sad to see someone else get the same amount of steem power at a fraction of the price I (or anyone else) paid, especially for early investors who took on even more risk. But yeah, risk is risk and should be factored into all investment and speculation decisions.
You could just keep all your steem in SBD. It should keep its value if STEEM tanks. Emphasize on the word "should."
