[Breaking News] Steemit Ned Just Tweeted: "Big Companies Reaching Out About SMTs You Would Scream Out Loud"

Wow, this was some really good news coming out from Ned, the CEO of Steemit. Here is his latest tweet:

Comment: There is no other way to describe his sentence other than very bullish for Steem/Steem Dollar. I dont know what big companies he is referring to, but it doesnt really matter. If one large media/news company would start implementing Smart Media Tokens, Steem could easily go up to $20 and if more were to follow, much higher and to me, this is the likely scenario based on what Ned is writing in his tweet.

Steem is doing very nicely at the moment compared to the majority of cryptos (Bitcoin is down 6%). Steem is up 9% against Bitcoin and there is another reason why Steem is going up as well and I will create another blog post about that shortly.

Happy Steeming!

It really does feel like there are huge things ahead for Steem. We're in a privileged position being able to obtain Steem through our content on Steemit. In the future, these earnings are likely to be worth a lot more than they are now!

Yup, I agree with you, as long as you create useful Steemit content, your future will be bright

Steem to the moon. It will be cool to see steem hit $20 or $30 this year.

Thanks for the shares, this is great news! SMTs will change everything for Steemit and the future of STEEM price.

This is some excellent news. Looking at how Tron did, we could expect something like $14 STEEM or even higher. I probably should go and put some more hype on SMTs.

Reaching out could just be based on curiosity, looking at the integral parts of the structure. Would say like Mark Zuckerbergs interest would be one in investing?...as opposed to finding out how it's structured, is it a threat to his entity, how can he counter it if it was? Would he not then look for the vulnerabilities and build a better structure? One that lets say he looks at it from the perspective that it has been every bodies contribution to his site regardless of value or intellect that has led it to succeed and finds a way to undermine that vulnerability in the Steemit system. After all what good is any content if it gets ignored by the masses? I don't think he or whoever owns utube is going to sit and let Steemit suck the literal life out of them.

They tend to be control freaks out of touch with reality. They'll try to build their own stuff like the governments trying to make their own cryptos. If Zuckers mess up STEEM we'll simply do a HF and move on.

"They tend to be control freaks out of touch with reality." I've been a blogger almost three years now and the reality is from a bloggers view point this site sucks in it's level of participation. Over a couple of weeks now and I have yet to see any discussion that has brought in thousands of comments and most the comments I see are based on nice job dude, keep up the good work, thanks for the info that was a great article. Wow, totally intellectually stimulating. /s. I am not trying to say everything has to be, the world just isn't build that way, different strokes for different folks but the point is being open for everyone to thrive in their own way regardless if they are on the same level as you.

They'll try to build their own stuff....what a understatement, they have already build their own stuff and with the type of vulnerability in your system and the fact that people are already familiar with the FB platform and how it operates they could do a take down before you could do a about face. ( I have no idea what a HF is)

....and that my dear is exactly what you are forgetting.

HF is Hard Fork. If Zuckerberg gains influence we can simply Fork into a version where Zuckerberg's influence doesn't exist. If Zukers buy into the new blockchain, we'll make a new one. Think what happened with Ethereum.
