How Effective Is Steemit At Being A New Talent Finding Platform?
I'm still relatively new to Steemit. But in the short period I have been on the platform I have discovered all sorts of people publishing a whole myriad of content. From my Steemit travels I have discovered lots of people sharing their creative work. Whether that be writing, photography, installations or whatever there is clearly a desire for people to showcase their abilities.
So what if Steemit could be a furtile ground for talent discovery? Let's be honest, there is an abundance of untapped talent out there, and a lot of it seems to be finding its way on to the Steemit platform. Which is great. I've come across countless individuals that have merit in their own fields, and are worthy of investment.
In many ways Steemit is demonstrating the sheer mass of potential that exists but it simultaneously highlights the restrictions of the established industries we are all trying to get into. For the serious practioners we know we have the ability to succeed. Yet we are often still stuck in wage slave jobs just so we can afford to pay the rent and eat. We are not where we should be because the gatekeepers of our desired industries and professions won't let us in yet. This needs to change. And maybe, just maybe, Steemit could help us to get where we would all like to be.
Whether we're passionate writers, painters or filmmakers we need to keep motivated. And Steemit can achieve this. I'm quite excited about the prospect of Steemit becoming more recognised for the original platform it is. Steemit offers a place where original content can be accessed and new experiences found. More importantly though it offers the real chance of discovering somebody who can make a valuable contribution to this world.
Whatever your passion is make sure you keep being creative. And keep sharing.

Hey! Thanks for the positive inspiration! Indeed it isn´t easy having to put your passion and talents aside for a boring lifeless job to earn a living and then meeting closed doors when your talents want to go out. Nevertheless, keep it alive! And hopefully Steemit can help!
