Did HF19 Go According To Plan? - Posts Value In Steep Decline
When HF19 was implemented on Tuesday I think it's fair to say that the majority of us saw a good increase in our rewards value for our stories. However, since that initial incline all my posts have been in a big decline and have now lost around 15% in the total value. Does anybody know why?
It's fantastic that we are now receiving more dollar for our upvotes but the continuing overall decline in value is lessening the positive impact of our increase in power for upvoting. I really hope this decline stops soon but does anyone know what is causing it and how long it may last for?
There's nothing more disincentivising than seeing the initial reward increase turning into a constant decrease.
I am experiencing the same thing, kind of demoralising... but maybe an incentive to produce more (risking quality)?
Yeah I'm not sure of the reason, but you're right it makes our efforts seem a little less worthwhile.
Maybe still too early to see the real effect... I am hopeful, always positive :D

It is a bit early to discuss the effects of HF19. We know a lot more after a few weeks.
