The whales should encourage the minnows rather than recommending our downvote! I joined about 1month plus and I have been active and also contributing immensely to the community!
Just don't use bid bots. They are only harming Steem. Spend the time engaging with other users, share your content outside of Steemit, and you'll hopefully find that you earn way more (on top of getting way more pleasure) that way.
You bought votes instead of earning them through engagement with the community. This distorts the reward pool and abuses the entire network of other users.
