We know it, society is wrong.

We are not negative people, not everything is wrong, society is the product of thousands of years of evolution and experience, and we know that life is a challenge; it is as much of a challenge for us today as it was a challenge for our ancestors. We are aware that we are here today because they lived their lives, they struggled, and they succeeded. We are grateful for that, and we honor their efforts and their tears.

Not everything is wrong, but we understand that the general direction of humanity is. We are the black sheep pushing in the opposite direction, because we see that the flock is heading to destruction. Our hearts and minds are focused on waking up others to a broader understanding of life, and we do so while balancing the many difficult challenges that life throws at us.

We have questioned the structures that surround us, while our peers can only understand life through them. We have allowed ourselves to think and see further, even at the expense of becoming outsiders in our own communities.

Through the eyes of others, we are unconventional

And they are right, we are. A persistent sense of inconformity has lead us here, to this moment, and has allowed us to want more for us and for others. This is what unites us around ideas such as the blockchain and projects such as this one. We have spent countless hours researching, talking and reflecting before arriving to this platform. We have understood the potential that stems from the applications of the blockchain, and the possibilities brought about by this new informational architecture.

We crave for change

There is too much room for deceit, manipulation and corruption in this world. Too many dark alleys to hide and hold down transformative ideas and solutions. By supporting experimental projects such as Steemit, we hold a space where clarity and transparency can develop: here no one can censor our posts, no one can silence us… Can you feel that? That is power flowing back to your hands. Wield it!

Let us disrupt the structures that surround us

Just like you, I´m excited about this experiment, I want to see where it leads us. I want to support it and see it grow, change and adapt. We know that blockchain based initiatives have the potential to bring about massive positive change, and we don’t fear that, our intentions are focused on spreading these ideas and turning them into the new mainstream. We celebrate this moment as pioneers willing to do the work for us and for everyone.
