Been mining steem for days at 14 hps with my I5 3570k and nothing yet. Maybe tonight :)
You actually are just mining steem power and as long as your computer's overall rated is five you should see your steem power changing constantly not by alot but it's going up lol
hummm on my steemd@cherryleaf page should I be seeing something? I know where it says mining it says false. My steam power is slightly going up. I notice it going up a few times a day but I thought that from the blogs and comments I've been posting. On my opened miner window it just keep scrolling and the block numbers are going up, here's a snip it. (hash rate is down since I run only 2 cores while I'm using the computer but it runs at 14hps all night on 4 cores)

awesome, thanks for verification. Is there anywhere that shows how much I have mined and when it was found?
really wish it would say you've got "this" from mining so I'd know it was working, but I have nothing that says a POW was found in the steemd@cherryleaf page...
Yeah that site isn't very handy I wish someone would create an app to monitor what I've mined and overall my miners I know they have that for ethereum and bitcoin
