We are going to see major shifts in how media, movies , your favorite artists and more is presented to your face very shortly.
Enter SingularDTV --- long story short --- this new service will allow artists to "BYPASS" all the producers and middlemen in presenting content to a viewer.
"YOU are the star" with SingularDTV" ....you go directly to a customer who pays to to see you. The money goes directly to the artist. In a way like comparing Steemit to Facebook. In their model, Facebook gets the advertising money, Facebook censors comments, facebook is in control --- not that way with Steemit.
SingularDTV will challenge all these platforms and norms of the past. If you are a singer do you want to pay a manager or beg a producer to be on their label? All this will change because of Ethereum and blockchain will allow that one to one artist and customer relationship.

In a recent interview with Cointelegraph, SingularDTV CEO Zach LeBeau revealed his outfit will be hiring more seasoned hands from Hollywood. These comments were made on the heels of Hollywood veteran Michael Blieden being brought on board as a consulting producer.
Jason Tyrrell has over ten years experience of content distribution in Hollywood. Previously, he was Director of Content for Vubiquity and has worked with over 650 leading independent producers, film studios, MCNs and television networks arranging opportunities that assisted in delivering premium content to more than 1,000 worldwide video wholesalers spanning over 109 mln households in beyond 120 countries.
"This brings to three the number of Hollywood hands engaged so far by the Ethereum-Based Entertainment Platform."
"Jason's mission at SingularDTV is to help us compete with the existing and established entertainment platforms like Netflix, Hulu and Amazon by making the deals with publishers and creators to bring premium content to SingularDTV," LeBeau explained to Cointelegraph what necessitated another high-profile hiring.

Great point and i believe the project would make waves but stepwise not just an exponential due to the big boys in the game. Actually being studying the growth rate and now is the best time to invest if interested.

"disruption" -- -is there any larger disruption than what happens to crypto's vs the banks ? And what about the dollar long term?
fiat currencies is just for starters.. when you consider how many projects blockchain can thow up.. <> everything could be covered within a decade. The banks are one thing but there's multinational governance and a zillion other transnational activities to be considered.. I think it's the most exciting thing since the internet started.. (and i was there downloading nothing with IE1 and searching for nothing much with gopher ;) on a power mac with 4mb of ram, which was pretty cool... using photoshop with no layers, mindblowing

Even though I'm a Luddite and prefer physical media, I still bought some because it's a good idea.

Yeah that's why I think it's a good idea. It's just I like buying physical media, and I don't want them to completely go away.
