RE: Are your Steemit ideas workable?

in #steemit6 years ago

To be honest there's way too many of those guys. They usually call themselves 'I'm the guy with the ideas'. They also avidly watch TED videos and subscribe to Tim Frris, both his 80/20 method and more obviously the 4hr working week. At least I've never seen more actual performance than 4 hours/week of that type of team member.

And while I absolutely do not subscribe to the cult of Ferris, in his defense in recent years he has never claimed he worked only 4 hours per week. Before he did though but now he doesn't need to pitch his book, or himself, anymore.

Sort:

For real, Steve Jobs has a lot to answer for. We need the ideas but the legislation of intellectual property and patents support the worst part of what they do, own work via ideas and control innovation without work of their own.

But really I wasn't talking of the person of the extreme douchebag in the video, more the trend for baseless wish-ideation (I just made that term up, I own it, you all saw it!!)
