I don't think there is a valid argument for downvoting somebody other than flagging the spammers, trolls, abusers.
We have 3 options:
- upvote (I liked your content).
- don't do anything (I don't like your content)
- downvote (you abuse the system)
Why we should gather 3 options in only 2 ? This is simply irrational, a plain and simple emotional decision.
