I just updated the post. You can use https://ipfs.pics instead. It's just as good. Easier even.
Hey, the question might be outdated and I understand you can't mention all picture sites... but just in case...
At www.flickr.com, you can refer to individual pictures too... both directly as in the context of a particular album. E.g.
