Busted!

I don't have that much time to make a more decent post but i still want to write something. That leads me to personal stories that i thankfully still remember in every detail. This story happened around a month ago while i was out for coffee. We were 4 people included me, 2 boys-2 girls and i knew the 2 of them. I have talked a bit with the other girl and we both knew each other having common friends but still never went for a coffee or made any further talks, just simple hi and stuff.

After a while in the cafe and after many different talks, i can't remember how this started but she tells to us that "i prefer others to say what they have to say in person, like i do and not hide or say things behind my back". Nobody talked but as usual me and i said to her "Doesn't everyone say the same?" "is there a chance somebody to tell you that he is a person that talks behind your back?"

For a minute her brain may stopped working cause she didn't expected to get that kind of answer and i bet she just expect to hear positive comments about how "honest" she is, but not in my watch! After a minute she replied "yea but i mean it i never say things behind others backs!" and quickly i responded "are you sure?"

She looked me with courage and certainty and said "Ofc i never lie or talk behind someone's back, if i have to say something i will say right in your face".  As soon as i heard this i started laughing on my own so she felt a little annoyed and ask me why i laugh.

I told her "come closer to tell you something between us". She did as i asked and i just mentioned 2 very insulting things she said and did behind other's people backs. Her look on her face was priceless, it was like i knew her big secret and i destroyed her life. The others asked both of us what did i said to her that made her change a million colors but we left it at that point.

Later on and i don't know how she found my phone number and called me to make sure that i will never reveal this things to anyone. I said to her "Do you see how easy i proved what i told earlier? You are just another person who acts like a decent one while actually you say way too many things behind other's backs and you don't even have the courtesy to admit or say it to their face. Why you even start a conversation about truth and stuff while what you are doing is completely different. The world is small and you can't outsmart everyone especially when you have done something wrong yourself. Change your attitude from now on cause that won't work for a long time"

What i know is that people speak and they speak a lot. If you are talkative person like me and you like to interact with others while you have a decent attitude towards them, they will start trusting you. The more they trust you the more they will say to you either for others or things regarding their lives. That's what happening with me, most of the times if i am about to meet a friend of a friend, chances are that i will already know a whole lot of things about him/her.

A piece of advise to everyone is to be real and say the truth to people without fearing the consequences or what they may think about you. Ofc you shouldn't tell the raw truth to anyone cause if you go and say to your boss what you actually feel then very soon you gonna look for another job. What i mean is to show your true face and not create a false one cause sooner or later people will find out and then the consequences will be much worse.
